HUGE.
I need my laptop, power cords, calculator, work documents, big spiral notebook, small steno notebook, planner, magazine/book, water bottle, granola bars, pens/pencils/highlighters, phone, ipod, keys, wallet, makeup bag, flats, multiple chapsticks, sunglasses...I'm sure there's more.

That is so funny, I literally just read that and thought to myself what a great comment it was.

To my senior prom (2002) I wore a floor length Sue Wong dress. It was a dark purple/grayish color with really beautiful beading. It was very mature compared to the cotton candy and bubblegum poofy dresses that my friends were all wearing. It was a column dress and had a V neck in the front and a deeper V in the back. I really stood out in the pictures because everyone else wore strapless bright colored dresses with princess skirts.
I also refused to get an updo. I had my hair done but I insisted half up and no curls.

For some reason this post really irriatated me. Its just written in a very smug manner. Just because you fashoinistas can wear whatever you want to work, and make enough money to survive in this city, does not make you any better than those women who wear a suit to work everyday. Most people do not have the luxury of a casual dress code, and work within the business attire restrictions they are given.
And I think its fairly obvious that if you don't work at a job that requires you to wear a suit, you wouldn't own a one.

Question for those who don't dress down at home....if you're lounging on your couch what do you wear?
I'm a firm believer that sweatpants should NOT be worn outside of the house, but I also think that they are the best thing to wear around my apartment. When I finally get off work tonight around 10 I know the first thing I'll do is pour a glass a wine. But a quick second will be to put on a comfy pair of sweats.

I was thinking that maybe Whitney's pronounciation of Givenchy was fake. She actually knows her fashion...I find it unilkely that she wouldn't know the correct pronounciation. I think the producers were trying to showcase them as these two American girls in a totally unknown compeltely foreign place...with strange words that they don't know how to pronounce.
Or perhaps, I'm just giving Whitney more credit than she deserves.
Also, Lauren's acting is improving. She seemed to be near tears when she realized the curling iron was on. Either the producers burned the dress without telling her first, or the girl may have some actual acting ability.
And, the Sex and the City similarities were a little absurd.

Heidi and Spencer spotting....
yesterday, in Barneys, trying on shoes around 6:30-7.
Heidi is beyond scary looking in real life and super tiny. Total bobblehead...I don't know how her little legs supported her huge head, hair and lips.
Spencer looked exactly the same as on the show. He spent the entire time texting while laying on one of the couches.
It was extremely entertaining watching all the other shoppers pretend not to notice them. But lets face it....even if you didn't know who Heidi was, you would have noticed her in Barneys.

Here's the pics.
Its seems to be that shes sticking her chest out so far that shes creating rolls in her back. Also, the but of the bathing suit bottom is less than unflattering.

As a veteran of both the Gap and Banana Republic I can honestly admit I have a folding problem. I don't know if its because of my borderline child-labor experience at the Gap or just my natural obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Either way....I have to re-fold anything of mine anyone else has folded. And I can tell whenever one of my roomates has touched my stuff...they never get just right. I never thought of this as being that weird until now. So ya I guess I kind of have a problem.

I'm curvy and proud of it. And I don't think the fact that I am size 8 should have any relation to my love of vogue and all things fashion.
It's pretty funny that there are people out there who actually believe only skinny people are interested in fashion. What an ignorant comment. I believe that only intelligent people should be allowed to post comments on the internet...maybe in a perfect world.
