I love shopping online, and would guess that I buy as much as 70% of my clothes/shoes/bags/ online. I feel like I have more time to make a rational decision online, and I usually get the best sales online.
I will buy dresses, but usually only MJ ones, because I always wear the same size, or looser fitting dresses, because there is a little more room for size error.

I tried this dress on this weekend! It totally looks cheap compared to the 3.1 version. If anyone is thinking about ordering it, it runs REALLY big. I usually wear a L at XXI but I needed a small (It was huge in the armpits)

Anna and Zac/Kate were the only ones who really tried with the theme. As much as I love the Proenza Schouler Airplane dresses, I can't believe Stam thought it "looked like it had a cape"???
Did ya'll get any pics of Lim and Iman? I only saw it on the ny mag video clip........

That was a huge mistake on Gap's part!

I live in Dallas Tx and I love the sart! My 62 yr old father in rural Mississippi loves him too...so that rules out the "he's not known outside of NYC" theory.......

I saw him in NYC one time and still kick myself for not going up to him!

Julie Gilhart and Jessica Stam wore my two favorite looks from Fall 08, but I don't think they were appropriate for the theme.
Anna was the best, but they will never list her.
Chanel Iman, Christina Ricci, Zac/Kate and Naomi Watts would win the "costume contest"! They put out the most effort.

Arden B buys a lot of their stuff from branded clothing companies, and then switch out the labels. They've even bought denim from a company I represent and switched the labels to their own.

I saw Priceless a few weeks ago at the Angelika here in Dallas (I'm a huge Tautou fan, I've seen all her movies!) and it was so great! I thought it was more like a modern day Breakfast at Tiffany's though......
The clothes were amazing.....

Entry: Do Fashion Shows Belong in Schools?

I think the difference here is that Parish Nation is going into "troubled schools" as opposed to private schools or schools with a higher graduation success rate. One of the lines I represent is "urban" and we've done similar things. I think that the fashion shows in the troubled schools are great, it's something that inspires these kids and gives them (realistic) goals and dreams. The ones I've been involved in usually invite as many kids to join in to participate as possible.

I think it's great what he's doing, and he's probably getting kids involved who would normally see learning "teamwork, responsibility, business skills, creativity, and risk taking" as nerdy or uncool, but since it's fashion, something that they are interested in, they participate.

Good one, Fashionista!

The whole green trend is annoying (not the act of being green itself, just the fact that it's a "trend")

I also find short shorts with boots annoying! ;-)
