please dont compare alice to cory...although yes, slowly cory IS starting to build credibility (ads, design collabs, nylon/nylon tv, 90210 cameo, ect...) she still has no real authenticity other than being an underage social climber....
aside from that, this proenza collection was hands down the best of the new york season so far!

huh? maybe the post should have been titled "balenciaga menswear: back to runway" since nic has been doing menswear for many seasons...but hasnt had male models walking in a collection since fall 05 i believe..

maybe because she acts 16 going on 25, but really in her late 40s? and not to mention her vocabulary: "rodge" "tay tay" "oh em gee" "i die" "like i mean, c'mon"
shes not an olsen and i think the day she realizes that, she'll get respect. plus maybe that little comment about anna didnt help...who knows

thats a very old photograph and none of those girls are clients of hers anymore (for obvious reasons) infact, i believe nicole called her "a raisin face who orders 3 peices of asparagus for dinner at chateau every night" and if you dont believe me, google raisin face and see what you get.
so please- dont be impressed by people just by who they're seen photographed with.

well if you dont want them, i do. call me a 'fashion punk' but sometimes i want a quick fix while i break in my own shoes. just wear them like you own them and have the attitude to go with it.

oh and btw- newer converse are not made the same as vintage ones. for example: made in china vs/ made in usa. (if you google it you'll see more differences)
and while its possible to score a vintage deadstock pair...its not so easy finding the exact color and size combo you want. so somtimes buying "used" is the next best thing to owning a true vintage pair of converse...plus they tend to last longer.
