Where to Begin?

I’m moving to New York next year to begin my fashion career. I want to become a stylist/editor and I know that I’ll have to do a lot of interships and work very hard, but that’s not the problem - my problem is that I can’t figure out where to go to school.

I’m finding it hard to relate my aspirations to the choices at Parsons (actually, can anyone tell me about any other schools?) I know they offer several paths of study like Fashion Merchandising, Accessory Design, Retail Buying and so on…but what do those have to do with styling/editing? I also have a bit of a language barrier with English, so i’m not entirely sure that I’ve misunderstood - maybe I’m just missing something?

Can anyone give me any advice on what kind of study to take up if I want to be a stylist or editor in the future?

the lack of headlines is because is the subscribers cover, the newstand cover is full of headlines like past issues, wearing a rather sheer purple dress.

I like her but she looks bad her, the make-up is very wrong.

This mag is from UK so I think it's located in the UK, and will be for the UK public like POP but it will be eagely seen by all the fashion crowd like POP was.

Anyways I think the name LOVE it's just ridiculous, but I liked pop so they probalby will have great content.

LOL...I just came from my appoinment...LMAO

The problem it's bigger than estethical tell ME about it... I got braces a year ago (two years to go) and all the pain it's been worth it...after a week with them I was surprised on how changed was my smile. I wish my mom would have done it when I was child because for not doing it now I have to go through 3 years of treatment, and a surjery to correct the damages my crooket teeth did to my jaw...but I know all of this would be worth it and I'll definetly will wear my retainers at night...and if I ever have a son or daughter I'll make sure they grow up with straight smiles.

I agree with #23 it's they're stylist style.

I only think Raquel (the black ensemble that it's mentioned was PERFECT) deserves it....what were they thinking whit Blake, I think they mean Serena LOL.

But if we're talking about celebs I was expecting to see Cate B too she can't do wrong...that McQueen...and Balenciaga, And Jennifer C. should be there too.

I think the Olsens are very avant garde for Vogue.
