1. up until a couple of weeks ago, i just freelanced for fashionista. i'm now the assistant editor under natalie - who is the associate editor. so i'm not in charge - but thank you, i'm flattered. 2. i think i made it clear that i love opening ceremony - i shop there quite often. i just happen to disagree with eric wilson on this particular point. disagreement does not equal negativity. 3. if the store does indeed exist as an antidote toward people like me - it's not working very well since i both shop there AND work at fashionista.

the point isn't that you HAVE to buy the over-priced louboutins - it's that there are endless footwear choices costing less than $30 that aren't rip-offs of someone else's creative vision. it's the same thing with fake bags - there are plenty of affordable options that don't blatantly steal someone else's idea.

ok so the stam in question isn't actually mine -- it's faran's. but i'm going to defend it anyway, because the stam doesn't have giant gold "MJ's" stamped upon it and isn't designed by a socialite -- and because in 20 years it'll be awesome to hand down an original marc jacobs stam bag to your daughter or grandaughter or whomever -- and because it's sort of like the balenciaga bag that i was so sick of seeing for awhile but now wish i had in my closet.

I still have a mini bottle of Gap Dream that I spray when I feel like time-traveling back to junior high post P.E. And when I get a whiff of a man wearing Tommy, I'm overwhelmed by thoughts on the boy I lusted after all of freshman year (of high school of course).
