I love them...as everything ballet related;) I've never known, what to wear them with, but now I have a few ideas. Thanks.

You know, there are shoes, which look good and are water proof. I don't know about US, but in Europe there are brands that make their fashionable shoes with GoreTex layer, which will keep your feet dry and breathing (unlike the wellies).

I have the same problem as guest@3:36. I've recently moved to a city, which offers much more fashion choices than my home town. I planned to gradually update my wardrobe, because I feel really uncomfortable in many of my clothes. I don't shop that often (the last time I bought anything was in August), but I still cannot afford more than H&M and the like. Which sucks, because I'm really starting to hate those cheap unoriginal clothes (especially, when just on the other end of the same street, there are designer shops with beautiful pieces on display). I guess, I'll have to keep buying basics for now and wait for better pieces till I'm out of school.
But even when I'm older and with a better paid job, there are some prices I don't think I would be able to justify. I think the secret is to find (relatively) affordable local designers.
Also, my problem with more expensive shops and boutiques is, that they don't offer the anonymity you get when shopping in a large mall. I don't feel comfortable when I'm the only one in a shop and the employees are actively trying to make me buy something (yeah, especially, when it's too expensive for me;)...but also in general.) But I guess that's something I'll have to get used to.

I don't even leotard without pants to a dance class. But I don't have skinny legs. God knows what kind of fashion decisions would I do if I had.

I'm one of the girls dreaming about their own wedding since...ever. But I'm not going to wear white either. I look too pale in it and I want something unique. Wedding dresses all look the same. Plus, there will be no bridesmaids, so I don't have to worry about the color of their dresses.

To me, Agyness is not pretty in any way. But I love Zara, so I will forgive them for this ;-)

I only own a travel iron/steamer. But I haven't used it in months. I used to iron obsessively, but gave up after I realized that the clothes will stay perfectly wrinkle-less for about 5 minutes at most. Now I have a dryer, so I just hang everything when it's still a bit wet and warm and that prevents basically all my clothes from any serious wrinkles.

I don't wear makeup, I think I look better without it. Plus, I'm lazy and prefer sleep to putting some paint on my face (some girls really do look like they just paint a new face on their own every morning). I use moisturizer and transparent anti-acne cream to keep my skin healthy looking. When I want to feel pretty, I put on some mascara.

I hate pointed shoes. And they make my feet look longer. I remember the times when there was simply nothing else in the (affordable) stores and if that's going to come back, I'm going to buy several pairs of round toe shoes now;)

I stopped shopping at h&m because of the deteriorating quality of their clothes, but this got me excited. Can't wait to see the collection.

Well, I'm from Europe and it's true that people have been wearing these scarves for some time now...and a lot of people, too...and of course, everyone should be allowed to wear whatever they want...but people wearing these scarves definitely lose points in my eyes.

I don't understand the appeal of Kate either, guest @1.14pm and HeatherChandler. She's just so blah. And I agree that she looks heavier in those photos than now. It suits her better.

Entry: Would You Wear Gray Hair?

Wow, I'm really surprised by all these comments. My first reaction was: gray? never!. I probably won't mind a few gray hair, or patches, because I have hair of all colors from very light blond to brown. But once the gray becomes prominent, I'm pretty sure I'll start coloring. I've always looked older than my age and gray hair certainly wouldn't help with that. But thanks to genetics I probably won't start graying before I'm 40.
That said, I agree that gray looks good on some people. For example on the woman in the picture above.

Yeah, but when the models walk the runways, they obviously are not photoshoped real-time, so their bodies have to look THAT good.

That's so nice to hear that even fabulous fashionistas have this problem sometimes;) My weight always grows during the school year and then I loose weight during summer, swear that I'm not going to get fatter again...and of course, come December, I have to go back to my wider trousers. And, yeah, there is the "lady time". I'd be able to live with this, but my clothes only look good on me when I'm thinner....I can't wait to be out of school and start making some money to update my closet;)
