Why are you guys still posting so many hipster streetwalking photos? It's gotten really tired... the mismatching, the hippie headbands, the skinny jeans... so predictable.

Funny looking at this now. I bought the E&J original at Scoop in October for like $40- marked down to $80 and then 50% off. It's all in the nonchalant fit of the top- and the varying sized rhinestones on the sleeves. It's a very high-class t-shirt- total oxymoron but totally true. This diy actually just looks cheesy because it lacks pizazz since sequins are so one-dimensional.

EXACTLY what I was thinking #7. "Elle" is the "Seventeen" for grown-ups.

Entry: Would You Wear Your Prom Dress Again?

Junior prom just a few years ago, I wore this draped navy jersey number with a pretty assymetrical hemline and some vertical bust ruching so it had a goddess affect to it. Very pretty, versatile, and timeless. I've worn it again and dressed it down too since it's so neutral!

Senior prom I wore this incredible Diane von Furstenburg chiffon minidress. It has an A-line silhouette (not babydoll though), and has this cool colorful pattern on the chiffon that's also mimicked in the satin underneath it, so it's got great depth. It was a little wild and unique for my school, very untraditional, but it was super fun and statement-making. I still love it and I've worn it multiple times to parties, wedding dinners, ballets, etc. since and I always get complimented by the coolest people. Throw a leather jacket over it and it's amazing. A little risky to wear in the wind, but totally worth it. ;)

I agree 16. Mystery is much sexier than over-exposure.

I love that woman. One of my favorite designers for sure. And come on guys, effortless in the style sense!

I agree with guest #1. I'm amazed that you guys could say WWWD is providing tips for "ripping off" Gucci. So apparently, according to Fashionista, nothing can be "inspired by" anymore? Wow. Ugggh.

Entry: Morley Safer, Snarky Fashion Commentator?

I agree with 28. It was a great piece! Morley was hardly rude- his jokes were actually quite spot-on. Most Americans watching the program would agree with his style commentary. I was laughing as I was glued to the screen. It was unbiased and I'm glad he didn't worship at their feet. And they made Anna seem quite likable, I love her even more now. I've come to realize that she's upholding Vogue as the elegant queen of magazines (no matter how dated a notion that is) to maintain its integrity, as that has always been the way American Vogue rolls. It is pristine, top-of-the-line, and always beautiful. And I am glad that 60 Minutes was able to portray this image accurately.

And Guest #29, of course Morley should have mentioned "emaciated models and $1200 price tags"- does Anna not deal with such things? Are they relevant to fashion? Obviously, therefore they deserve mentioning in the report. Adding such kept the report from being one-dimensional. And everyone needs to calm down- just because he wasn't proclaiming everyone a creative genius doesn't mean he was being stereotypical- he was being real.

I think when red eyeshadow is used close to the lashes it looks very rave-druggie... like F/W 09 Topshop. Icky. I think that's the real scary look that's unwearable. In contrast the photo above looks gorgeous- although it definitely looks more brown than red...

Hahahaha I love you RashomnRebel.

This is a really great idea. I'm a germaphobe so I can't touch garbage cans without slathering hand sanitizer all over me. Throwing trash into a light-up bunny instead seems like the best answer to me!

Both pairs being sandal heels with slightly similar straps doesn't make them identical or even copyright fight-worthy. These shoes don't even look anything like each other in the first place. Just because someone makes a chunky platform sandal with an ankle strap doesn't mean it's trying to be the Trib.

I agree with #16. I do adore Rihanna and, to an extent, Beyonce, but if Ciara partnered with a designer she could greatly enhance her career. She's insanely gorgeous and she has the bad-girl look that would perfectly suit Alexander Wang... so she'd get away from the ubiquitous sexy-robot style but still maintain edge and sex appeal.

Aww I love letters of adoration! Christy's by far the most incredible and multi-faceted of the supers.

And I am so glad to finally read an article on this site that doesn't refer to "we" or "us" every other line... that lameness makes me want to vomit. Thank goodness you have an identity. And #2 ACTUALLY ranted about how selfish this post is for Abby signing with her name rather than the Fashionista alias??? Are you serious?! Gag. Me.

I'm sure I'm just one of many grammar/spelling snobs that will point this out, but you guys might want to change that to "Michael" or add a [sic].

And back to the actual tweet- who knew THE socialite Voguette was such a recessionista?! Maybe a profile of such an encounter will be found in an upcoming issue of Vogue? I'm envisioning it between an article on how to suck the fat out of your collarbone and the story of a mother of three's affair with her employee- while her husband is in the hospital. So. Genius.

Vogue's focus has become so honed on socialites and boring conservative fashions that the publication has become irrelevant to the humble homemakers in the midwest AND uninspiring to dedicated fashion-addicts... as it stands, they can't win, and this change must occur for them to regain a spot in the market. That said, Vogue DOES sell the dream- if you want accessible styles or trashy celebrity interviews pick up Elle or Marie Claire. I actually wrote about my ideal September Vogue just the other day for PYT (http://pytmedia.com)... throw in Rihanna as cover-girl, some Mert & Marcus, Inez & Vinoodh, Greg Kadel, and hot young models, plus a little sarcastic wit, and we've got perfection. Are you listening Anna?
