Entry: And Starring Hilary Swank, as the Fashion Assistant

I feel like Hilary is too old and structured as an actress to pull off this role. She just looks too mature to be in an assitant's role. I am being judgemental - but she seems like a bad choice for the part.

I hate ALL of this. UGH - is there ANY sane reason why people would choose to live the fashion atrocities of the eighties again? I'll pass. And seriously the model looks half-dead. icky poo.

Gosh - that article was shocking. I know this sounds naive, but I cannot believe they are valuing image and money over humanity so much. I thought Michael Kors was very insightful in his comments and advice.

I don't think Mehee's outfit is flattering on her frame at all. I love Karen's though! Yay for urban safari dresses

I loved those Chanel's also - I thought the heels with giant socky things were actually kind of flattering! Unfortunately, I'm short and they made me look even shorter so I never got a pair.
As heels they were great, but as flats... I dunno - pretty stumpifying, I would guess.

I totally agree with guest @ 12:49 - Marc by MJ stuff is complete schlock. And it is always so completely over the top trendy and terribly made. It is essentially overpriced Forever 21. ICK.

Her father is Matthew Donaldson. She comes from a lot of money. It does sound as if she was being sarcastic though, if not she sounds like a total twat. :-)

I like it too! It's so unstructured and glossy. I think the girl looks a bit like Freja. What mag is it and I love the dress in the last frame.
Yay!

She's bad. I don't really think she has vision. Dressing everyone in throwback clothing that mimic what you, yourself, wear is not inventive.
I dunno... I'm dubious.

I like it. In fact, I like it a lot. very witty and a little wry. I REALLY want those over the knee boots - FASHIONISTA who makes them?

Agreed on Lauren - all she wears is head to toe designer look, she is SOO uninventive or unusual with her styles. BLAH.
I loved Camilla Belle's look - I WANT THOSE SHOES!

I think she's okaaay looking but not interesting at all. She's sort of average pretty white suburban girl to me. Blech - I see Abercrombie ads.

Really - almost all of the girls pictured looked faar too skinny. Allegra is anorexic because she and her family have acknowledged it. But the other women looked just as frail and thin- especially Lily Collins.
Daisy Lowe looked the best and even she is REALLY thin.
Personally I am proud of Allegra for continuing to live her life and go through the struggle. I don't think its fair that she is not a 'best dressed' contender because she has an E.D. It's still a great dress.

Yeah this model is beautiful when she isn't making the glare-y 'take me so seriously' face. I am sick of the angry teenaged drama queen model faces too. Try something different! All the models do that today though, most of them can't actually do much photographically other than standing there in the dresses or jumping around stupidly ala American Vogue.
