Charlotte Gainsbourg has been rocking Balenciaga for a while and I'm sure she's going to kill it in the new campaign.
I just love her.

I wish the fashion industry was as catty and snobby as everyone thinks it is and I wouldnt have to know about people like these with fake jobs at places where other people are trying to actually work and make a living.

I wore those in elementary school. I think that's the only appropriate age to wear them.

To the guest:
They require school credit as a sort of insurance or something or other security. In case anything happens I guess they can't just have somebody working there for no compensation at all but school credit means that you're getting something out of it. I'm not entirely sure of what this is, but this is what an editor at Conde told me when I went for an interview for an internship there.

it's not cool. it only makes it harder for the average joe schmoe to get an internship. this is exactly why the fashion industry is insane to break into, how is some random girl from wisconsin ever gonna get a job when all the millionaires and the millionaires' kids are already in on it?

JCrew is doing super well and they have re-branded themselves and their clothes slowly throughout the years and they have done super well, the way it should be. If it wasn't because of that, they wouldn't have made the faux-Balenciaga blazer that you were all swooning over last season.
They are still preppy, they're just more luxurious.

I guess I'm not going to repeat what's already been said, but yea, britt hit the nail on the head.
Total pet peeve to see wide leg pants with heels when the pants have a regular length and then they just look like they are in the middle of nowhere.
