i wholeheartedly agree. i think it's the same kinda of nostalagia for that period that drives so many people tp love the music of that era. And why the sounds of so many of todays bands are influenced by sixties garage rock, or the velvet underground. I wish that music and fashion (which so often go together) could be truly inventive and avant-garde and less immitative of yesteryear's innovations.
