Gareth Pugh Designs Something You Can Actually Wear

plastic gareth.jpg
Guess what?

Gareth Pugh is designing a t-shirt line with Uniqlo.

That means you can wear a Gareth Pugh creation, even if you’re not an extra on a space movie.

We’re waiting to get a Gareth image from Uniqlo… meanwhile, consider this:

The tees are part of a larger Uniqlo project where they open separate Uniqlo stores just for t-shirts, which they consider to be the fundamental garment of modern style.

Are your t-shirts really that important to you?

norwegian fishermen during WW2 discovered that if you wore rubber when you fell into the cold sea your survival chances were better,so sailors in our navy and pilots flying over the sea wore survival suits and it all took off atomage near st martins and various mag shops in soho round the corner in the 50s were presumably a big influence in tactile fashion which nobody can wear in public but plenty get bought .
