When Target sold out of its Tara Jarmon dress last year, girls across the country were visibly bummed.

Thankfully, Forever 21 has recreated the dress in several colors for summer.

Our favorite is this blue and yellow version, which is built almost exactly like the Tara dress, but costs $5 more than the Tara for Target version.

Oh well.

We're just glad to have it back in our lives.

Different fabrics--the Jarmon one was a crisp cotton, F21 is a jersey-like material. They drape very differently and have a different feel to them, f21 seeming more like a tunic or tshirt than a dress.

That dress was the only thing out of the Jarmon collection worth buying. Remember all the jeans with the bows on the butt?

You could see that girls across the country were "visibly bummed?" Wow, you're good. That's like, what, 20/20 long distance x-ray vision?

They were visibly bummed because they sent me emails at Imaginary Socialite telling me so. Also, my Burberry spectacles can see FOREVER.

I have the f21 dress. And its definately not tunic length. Its dress length. But once washed and dried...its now a tunic.

I WAS SO BUMMED. I went to five different Targets in my area trying to find that dress, Faran. It was the only thing from the collection that I wanted.
