We heard something great this morning about Gap and Phoebe Philo:

The Fall collection she did for the UK was so well received, it might leak to Japan and America as well. That means more Gap for us, the good kind that isn’t BO(RED).

Also overheard by our delightful Head Girl overseas:

Marie Amelie Sauvé, the Paris Vogue goddess and Balenciaga consultant, might just be helping Phoebe Philo with the Gap collection… which could explain Mr. Ghesquiere’s obsession with striped shirts and khakis of late.

And finally, our own assessment: the cropped blue jacket on sale now is a Must Have, and supercheap too.
