So much for an anonymous collaboration -
We hear rumblings from sources inside Gap that Phoebe Philo will be their public face this Fall, stepping in as a temporary creative director and handling both the men’s and women’s collections from the top down.
If it’s true, it sadly doesn’t do us any good:
According to our best girl overseas, Phoebe’s collection will only be available for sale in the UK.
With this, Kate Moss for TopShop, and Giles and Lily Allen for New Look, we’re seriously thinking of packing our LeSportsac luggage and hauling it overseas via Virgin Atlantic.
Plus, they have Cadbury chocolate.

It's true and possibly shameful but I love Gap. However recently I've sort of fallen out of love with them. I've been waiting since Paul Pressler left to see who would start turning up as the company scrambles to bring Gap back.
Now I won't even be able to buy it!
