WHICH accessories maven is now the prime suspect for View From the Fourth Row? Editors at the major magazines are whispering her name, especially now that tech detectives have probed company computers for traces of illicit blogs. But maybe it's fate: the editor's office is, after all, in the building from The Devil Wears Prada.

I hope that's your answer to the blind item, and you're just phrasing it like Jeopardy.

Alice Kim is the accessories director of InStyle. She is also writing a book (or has written a book?) on poker playing, which is her hobby.

Have you read that other book by the Davil Wears Prada chick? This is totally a plot point. Maybe it's all a setup for a new movie...

accessories? conde nast? devil wears prada? is it sylvana soto ward, wintour's former assistant who worked her way to an accessories assistant position at Vogue? she's really young though, princeton '03, and I guess she had to kiss a lot of ass in order to get hired as a real editor there, so it's probably not her?

Hey, it's not Silvana, she's a stylist now and she wasn't at many of the events this blog mentions. She's also really cool and I can vouch that she'd never write such a silly blog.

I'm sure the Jewish post was a red herring designed to throw people off.

You guys know I never give further hints about blind items!
But as for your movie trivia, you're right - The Devil Wears Prada was filmed in the Time building, while the book itself is set in the Conde Nast building (albeit, with a thinly veiled pseudonym).

We know she loathes Glenda Bailey, Anna Wintour, who else? She slams a lot of people in her blog (which is very fashionable, but still). Those all are clues of people who possibly left Manolo Blahnik stiletto marks on her bony back (surely!)
I was thinking possibly an Elle editor, even if that's not the Time-Warner or Conde Nasty building.
I'm not convinced the FourthRow as a show location should be the focus: This woman gets to go to Europe and many other places, seems to get perks that would be dribbled down to those below.
But if we're going there: What magazine style or accessories editor would be back in the fourth row? I could only think of lower Vogue assistants without much power. So I think not.
