Here’s a good one from the rumor mill known as models (thanks, darlings!):
The girls walking in the Marc show have to arrive quite early today so they can have their hair dyed pink, red, or blue. Immediately following the show, every girl will have her hair dyed again, back to whatever color it used to be.
Implications: Marc is going cosmically punk for fall. The after party will be full of girls with wet hair. Blondies like Lily Donaldson, Agyness, and Stam may require a lot more recovery time and therefore be late, or at least slightly stressed. Also: many models won’t make their early fittings or call times tomorrow, causing some anxiety among those with Tuesday morning time slots.
And of course, starting this August, sales of Manic Panic in New York and LA are going to skyrocket. Are you ready for an Empire Records revival?
